Being a cop is a tough job, no doubt about it. I don’t think I could stand up under the strain. Day in, day out, dealing with nasty, violent, wicked people.
But enough about Al Sharpton.
I have done it, and it burns good men out quickly. No one is hamstrung more by severe restrictions than police who must constantly deal with, as you said, the worst in society who follow NO rules, who operate on a lifestyle basis outside the law.
and before the cop-haters weigh in, I am not excusing the rare cases of bad police conduct, of which this could be an example, AFTER all the facts are known from extensive investigation.
“Day in, day out, dealing with nasty, violent, wicked people.”
And then there are the criminals, who are even worse.
