Exactly. The properly inflated balls were used AFTER halftime, when the Pats rolled over the Colts with four touchdowns.

Obviously, the Pats handicapped themselves in the 1st half so as to give the nation a good football game. When those nasty refs made them play with properly inflated balls in the 2nd half, the NFL lost a ton of money when people turned off the 2nd half onslaught.
Not a Pats' fan, but I find all this so hilarious. Actually, I do like Belichick because the media hates him due to his interviews where he gives such deep answers as 'yes', 'no', 'maybe'.

"The properly inflated balls were used AFTER halftime, when the Pats rolled over the Colts with four touchdowns."I keep hearing that. The footballs were inspected and pumped back up at halftime. Do you have a link to an official statement on that? Or is that just what you've heard or read in various comments online? And were the footballs inspected again, after the game?

. The properly inflated balls were used AFTER halftime, when the Pats rolled over the Colts with four touchdowns. Which doesn't solve any problems for the Patriots since the Baltimore Raven players were the ones that tipped the Colts off the balls might be deflated.
The Ravens lost by a mere four points to New England.
