He was good in Little Fauss, Big Halsy, and in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, both released about 45 years ago.

Agreed. The book was laugh out loud in spots. On the other hand it doesn’t surprise me that Hollywood turns a decent book into something unwatchable
