regarding... “Where were the balls inflated?”
As the coach said, they practice with the balls during the week before a game. Therefore, they are inflated many days or weeks before the game itself.
The QB picks out the balls he wants to use for the game. Those are inspected by officials to be between 12.5-13.5 PSI about 2 hours before the game and returned to each team about 15 minutes before kickoff.
It's been almost 60 years since my racing days that we used it in the tires.

The claim is that the Pats balls dropped 1 PSI from the air temperature and 1 PSI from cooling after being rubbed down by the equipment managers. So that’s only 1 PSI from temperature.
If the Colts did not prep their balls before giving them to the refs, the balls would only be expected to drop 1 PSI due to the temperature difference. So they would have dropped less, despite being exposed to the same weather.
Prove this is not the case. Tell me exactly what the pressure of the Patriots balls were before the game. Tell me what the Colts balls were pressurized to before the game, and exactly what they read afterwards. With links to these numbers.
But you can’t. You’re just making up your “facts” to suit your prejudice.
So you are saying that perhaps all the Colt balls were pressured to the max allowed pressure of 13.5 psi per the teams preference.
And that their balls only dropped one PSI to the low end of the legal range?
You are not providing fäcts. You are parroting Belichick’s excuses from his presser today. There is no “fäct” that 11 of their footballs dropped 2 psi from a mixture of rubbing and climate. I heard Belichicks whole presser, you repeating it does not make his claims “facts”. Even in your convoluted claims you got his excuse wrong. Belichick said the footballs went UP in psi from the rubbing. He was all over the place and so are you.

The NFL issued the following statement on Friday afternoon in response to inquiries about “Deflategate”:
“Our office has been conducting an investigation as to whether the footballs used in last Sunday’s AFC Championship Game complied with the specifications that are set forth in the playing rules. The investigation began based on information that suggested that the game balls used by the New England Patriots were not properly inflated to levels required by the playing rules, specifically Playing Rule 2, Section 1, which requires that the ball be inflated to between 12.5 and 13.5 pounds per square inch. Prior to the game, the game officials inspect the footballs to be used by each team and confirm that this standard is satisfied, which was done before last Sunday’s game.
“The investigation is being led jointly by NFL Executive Vice President Jeff Pash and Ted Wells of the law firm of Paul Weiss. Mr. Wells and his firm bring additional expertise and a valuable independent perspective. The investigation began promptly on Sunday night. Over the past several days, nearly 40 interviews have been conducted, including of Patriots personnel, game officials, and third parties with relevant information and expertise. We have obtained and are continuing to obtain additional information, including video and other electronic information and physical evidence. We have retained Renaissance Associates, an investigatory firm with sophisticated forensic expertise to assist in reviewing electronic and video information.
“The playing rules are intended to protect the fairness and integrity of our games. We take seriously claims that those rules have been violated and will fully investigate this matter without compromise or delay. The investigation is ongoing, will be thorough and objective, and is being pursued expeditiously. In the coming days, we expect to conduct numerous additional interviews, examine video and other forensic evidence, as well as relevant physical evidence. While the evidence thus far supports the conclusion that footballs that were under-inflated were used by the Patriots in the first half, the footballs were properly inflated for the second half and confirmed at the conclusion of the game to have remained properly inflated. The goals of the investigation will be to determine the explanation for why footballs used in the game were not in compliance with the playing rules and specifically whether any noncompliance was the result of deliberate action. We have not made any judgments on these points and will not do so until we have concluded our investigation and considered all of the relevant evidence.
“Upon being advised of the investigation, the Patriots promptly pledged their full cooperation and have made their personnel and other information available to us upon request. Our investigation will seek information from any and all relevant sources and we expect full cooperation from other clubs as well. As we develop more information and are in a position to reach conclusions, we will share them publicly.”
I was a science major and flunked nothing...a football CANNOT lose 2# of air pressure when going from a 70 degree room to an 50 degree field..PERIOD.....and if it were possible(it's not) ALL of the balls, including those owned by the Colts would have suffered the same fate...THEY DIDN'T
It is a goofy rule. Like the Dez Bryant “non-catch” because he didn't make a football move. But a rule none the less.
Frankly, I don't even care about the Super Bowl this year. I don't care for either team. Don't particularly like Katy Perry at half time and the commercials aren't that good anymore. Besides, I have traditionally eaten queso during the SB and can't anymore due to cholesterol. What's the point?
The Patriots footballs were a full 2# underinflated....the very moment that their QB touched those balls...he knew it..He probably didn't deflate them...but he KNEW that they were soft PERIOD

Some people believe what they want to believe. The only logical conclusion is the Patriots balls were intentionally deflated by their side. And they know it. That is why Belichick spent 23 minutes at a presser today and a week of setting up excuses to hide it. He wouldn’t do that if they had nothing to hide he would shrug it off and give the media the finger like he usually does

Well, I don’t think so regarding your science major in grade school... First of all, we don’t know at what temp the balls were inflated. And it wasn’t 50 degrees, it was 45 degrees.
Tell me, wise one... If inflated at 70 degrees with CO2, what would the pressure be at 45 degrees? Show your work...

Totally asinine comment...the results of the game are irrelevant...of course the Pats would have won the game but a multibillion dollar sport has been besmirched by CHEATERS and whatever penalty they get is nowhere near severe enough. You are in error in this one critical statement. What NOONE knows is what the actual inflation pressures were at the time of testing prior to the game. There is an allowable RANGE of pressure (12.5 to 13.5 psi) that was measured by the officials prior to the game. We do not know what either the Colts or Pats footballs measured at that time, except that ALL the footballs met the league limits. Depending on the preference of the QB, the Colts footballs may have been at 13.5 psi. We know that Brady prefers his footballs at 12.5 psi - an immediate 1 psi differential. So your statement that the footballs were the same is not borne out by the evidence at hand.
