There is zero chance something like this was not done with Brady’s direction, if not the coaching organization. Zero. If they fall guy someone like this, it’s worse than something bigger. Much worse. In a crazy way, this is far worse than their other issues this season because it’s a direction violation of game rules and cheating the outcome.

Do you suppose it was a CRIME? If not, then the “fall guy” really has nothing to lose. Will go out on the interview circuit, maybe write a nice book. Probably has a stream of cash promised to him for the rest of his natural life expectancy by “boosters” of the Patriots.

Depends on where the legs of this go. Granted it didn’t make a difference in the Colts game but what about the closer scored games preceding it?
And then there is the Nevada angle.: we’re individuals in the gambling industry aware that the Patriots/Brady had an advantage when the bets were placed? We’re they paying the ball boy? Is Brady connected in anyway?

No locker room attendant would do this on his own. Somehow he knew what Brady wanted.
To follow up: IMHO, the best thing that can come of this for the Patriots is that the locker room or game-ball attendant says he did this because he knew from Brady’s public comments in the past that he likes a soft ball, and did it on his own to make Brady happy.
Everyone predicted this at least a week ago. mr Nobody is to blame. Poor coach and quarterback knew nothing.
