My Brother’s Sammy made the “click of death” last night when attempting to power it on.

It didn’t handle dark colors like black very well either.

My 5 year old Vizio 42”, 120MHz is still going strong. They use LG panels and the pic and colors look great.

My Samsung got damaged in a move but it operated flawlessly for 3 years before that. I used it as a monitor for my computer so I never used any of the smart features.

I replaced it with a 70 inch Vizio and it works great as a monitor. less than $1,400.00 at Costco. Considering I paid $400.00 for an 80 column 12 inch monitor 30 years ago, it was a very good buy. My TV is never off so it gets more abuse than most.
