BOSTON - A veteran Celtic punk rock band has asked Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker to stop using their music at appearances because they hate him.
In a Jan. 24 tweet to Walker, Dropkick Murphys said, "Please stop using our music in any way ... We literally hate you!! Love, Dropkick Murphys."
The tweet was in response to Walker playing their song "I'm Shipping Up to Boston" as he took the stage at the Iowa Freedom Summit.

As long as he pays the royalties, they can go suck it. Which should, of course, be his response.

Over the top comment from an over-rated band.

The Left...the original “haters”.
It reminds me of this meme out on the web that shows a picture of Gene Wilder (looking gently bemused) in his role of master of the chocolate factory with the tag line: “So, you hate Conservatives, Christians, and Southerners. So continue telling me how tolerant you are.”
To: Citizen Zed
Why would anyone even vaguely conservative want to be identified with “Boston” in any way?

More like “Your hatred amuses me, your suffering pleases me, and your tears are a balm to me. Here’s your royalty check.”

Remember when the phrase ‘Banned in Boston’ was a selling point for naughty books and movies because Boston was sooooooo conservative?...............

So a bunch of unknown, bitter liberal Irishmen from Boston hate a Republican? So what else is new?

Why would anyone even vaguely conservative want to be identified with Boston in any way?I reckon it's because back in the day they had a "tea party" there.
