I guess I missed something. I thought getting Medicare Part D was the insurance????? Now I get the drift that besides signing up for Part D I must also get another insurance plan that covers prescriptions??????????? I thought part D was the plan....... Guess not:<((((
Oh, and I’m already at the max with metformin.
Plan D is for prescriptions however each company offers a different degree of coverage. I use generic drugs so USAA plan works for me. If you have non generic drugs another plan would be better for you. Call the companies with your drugs and let them tell you what is covered and what is not.
