That would give him over 8 seconds per ball...not problematic in the least for somebody who...
(a) knows what they're doing...
(b) and, for all we know, may have been practicing at it all week as hard as what the Pats were doing on the field...
If it took 99 seconds vs. some round # being given now...that's 9 seconds per ball.
I've seen NFL commentators go on and on about QBs who get 6-7 seconds of pocket time to unload a pass.
9 seconds? They'd go crazy & fans of such a defense get incredibly "ancie."
Watch a QB in the pocket for 9 seconds & you can see how long that is!

Possibly practicing from when football training camp opens and doing it every game day for the last 7 or 8 years. If this happened, and I believe it did, I doubt seriously this was a one time shot. Possibly only at home games.
