Seems to me that the nazis were largely inspired by American progressives of the early 1900s.

Like Margaret Sanger and Planned Parenthood?

Or is it safe to say that Sanger took her cues from Hitler and Nazism?

Either way - they both are genocidal extremes cut from the same cloth designed for the same evil purpose.
