The Groundhog Tradition is quaint and very charming, but I’m really surprised it’s still widely performed to this day. I say we can keep the stovepipe hats, keep the declarations of self reliance during the continued winter, and stop bothering that ground rodent to get an annual photo op.
They should just borrow one of those critters from the Caddyshack movie.
