The younger ones are good eating. Just pull the backstraps because the legs are the first thing to get tough. Cooking them wet like in a casserole seems to work good. If I had a town full of them in winter when they yard up, I would equip myself with a nice light recurve or longbow and blunts and sneak around backyards having a blast.
