My wife refuses to see it or read the book. She hates the idea that so many people are attracted to this and no longer seem to believe in modesty or humility.
In addition, we also have to be hyper vigilant to switch channels when the ads or clips of the movie are shown on TV so that our young kids don’t see some of this very embarrassing stuff.

I agree with your wife. And thank goodness there are parents like you left who will shelter their children.
So much lack of respect and lack of modesty in our culture. While I am waiting in the checkout line at the grocery store and see the words on many of the magazines, I am so thankful that I am no longer raising children. Disgusting junk there.
BTW, I turn the magazines around if the covers are offensive, a trick I learned from my late mother.
