The Mothman Museum would clearly be worth a visit.

Coral Castle is very, very cool (imo). I wouldn't call it weird. Just fascinating.

I was pretty sure that the Twine Museum, houses the world’s largest ball of twine, would be Minnesota’s weirdest museum. But checking out the website for the House of Balls makes me see why it’s the winner, thought it seems like it would be a better fit in the “Museums Run by a Psychopath” article.

For Maine, I’d pick the Wilhelm Reich Museum in Rangeley.

Colorado has a tropical insect museum. You would have thought it would have something to do with loco weeds.

Geez, Colorado’s isn’t weird at all. And Wyoming’s is the Old Territorial Prison, which is actually a pretty interesting place. Butch Cassidy was once a “guest.”

Found this by accident, near Baltimore’s BWI airport.

Had an Enegma Machine on display at that time.

There is the Boron, California 20 Mule Team Museum.

It’s right above Edwards AFB, is free and is about Borax and boron mining. Has stuff about Ronald Reagan as well, as he was host of Death Valley Days.

It’s not weird, but is a cool little museum.

In one of those “What the Heck” moments we visited the Spam Museum in Austin MN. Spent over three hours there. How it’s made. Who eats the stuff. Fascinating stories of how Spam contributed to WWII. Letters from Ike. Have told all our friends to check it out. Proudly displaying our Spam magnet on the fridge.
