One of the earliest writings in regard to "objective journalism" as it has come to be known in the modern sense.

First published in 1919, this is in the public domain.

There are parts of this essay which actually are quite true and would be prudent to follow. The problem is that just a few years later(1922), Lippmann published his book Public Opinion. In Public Opinion, we are treated to some ways to "manufacture consent".

Thus we see the difference that always exists in progressivism - there is the exterior shell that is designed to look pretty and be appealing. This shell is also quite difficult to penetrate, a sturdy fortress. But then there is the soft underside is easy to cut through and largely rotten. This is where they will be undone.

Yes, but propaganda works as does active suppression. A good start would be the publication on a constant basis of the names of the real people who actually determine what is done to form American “Public Opinion” in 2015 A.D.

You are clearly on a mission to expose our modern media/government complex.

I’m with you.

However, exposure is one thing and your preaching to the choir does very little to affect any real change.

At the end of the day, you are in need of a solution to the obvious problem.
