How can someone be drawn into something when they have been completely defeated? (EMP as asymmetrical warfare)
As for China, I have no idea how they don't end up in the final act...
An EMP blast is something technically possible, but it’s speculation as to whether it actually happens in the future. But, it’s definitely a danger.
The Soviet Union could have done that to us, too, but they didn’t. Perhaps the M.A.D. doctrine kept them from doing it. I would imagine that even if China did that, they wouldn’t have anything left of their country, because we would have ample nuclear weaponry to turn their country to ashes. I suppose the M.A.D. doctrine is good for that ... :-) ...
