Not just in big cities. 4 years ago, I had to take a cab from my home to the doctor - which was like a 15 minute drive. OMG I did alot of praying while in the cab. This cab driver was like in his early 60’s but you can tell he was from either India or the Middle East. Especially when he had to talk to the center. I couldn’t figure out what language he was speaking but it was foreign. He drove so fast and he was driving off and on the line pertaining to the next lane. I’m like “Please God get me home safe” LOL.
I’m glad Illegals don’t get driver license ...o wait nevermind. No more cabs for me unless it is extremely emergency LOL.
In DC it seems most of the cabbies are middle eastern. Act as though they don’t know their way to the fricken most popular tourist places, then drive you around in circles. That’s OK, there is no law that says I tip those particular clowns.
The last time I took a cab - in my home town about 2 months ago after a trip - I selected a cab with am older woman behind the wheel. ;)
