We always looked for it when we went through,
there was a place called the Peach Blossom Diner
not far from there. Great place years ago.

Saw it today while driving to Charlotte on I-85! It always used to mark the road I would take to the RevWar Cowpens battlefield, the American Cannae, where Daniel Morgan, his backwoods militiamen, and a few companies of Delaware, Virginia and Maryland regulars smashed the hubris out of Banastre Tarleton and the Redcoats in the most one-sided battle of the War of Independence.

Ah the Peachoid, lol. Otherwise known as the big butt, looming up over the pines as you head north on I-85, almost home to NC. It really does look like the biggest moon you've ever seen, especially lit and glowing at night.
