I read the same thing but don’t remember if it was from the wife’s testimony her first day on the stand or something online. The text was sent to Littlefield who was sitting in the passenger seat of Kyle’s vehicle - and Littlefield texted to Kyle, “He’s sitting right behind me. Watch my six.” They couldn’t very well talk about it with the guy sitting right there so texting was a good idea.. Kyle should have turned around and gone home at that point. 20-20 hindsight is great...
His wife did testify that she either phoned or texted Kyle after he was on the road awhile and he didn’t sound right to her and she asked him if everything was ok and he replied that it was. I think she said she called him a couple of times because of the way he sounded....
