My mother always loved Cherish when we would drive around in her blue/green Chevrolet she would sing it when it came on the radio. I must have been about 5.

I liked the follow-up to "Cherish." This didn't make any "oldies" playlists, so after its chart run, I never heard it again until the Internet came along. When I hear it, it still reminds me of rainy days in the late fall of 1966, when I would listen to Boss Radio 93 KHJ on my portable transistor radio.
