The gay agenda has won you over.

Not only is that a damnable lie, it's an intellectually vapid analysis. Liar and vapid is not way to go thru life dude......

You probably missed the entire point of the Seinfeld "not that there's anything wrong with that" episode too.

It does not promote the gay agenda - makes fun of it in fact at times.

I see it the same way. For example, there are running jokes in which Raj will say something that you would only expect to hear from a gay man (a remark about fashion or something like that) which results in the others looking at him in a way that shows they really wonder about him sometimes.

Yep, and the routines when Howard and Raj start talking to each other like a couple...that's made fun of by the show, not promoted. Penny is a flaming heterosexual - her friends are, her ex boyfriends are - there is not even a whiff of a gay agenda on this show....amazing considering it's main star is gay in real life. See post 61 - some clueless Freeper made an absurd comment.

Well, there is the Amy attraction to Penny shtick. “Gimme some sugar, Betsy!”

but again, it’s made fun of, and Penny rejects it - and Amy’s attractions to Sheldon are far more prevalent. Same when Raj and Stuart have one of those awkward moments - it is lampooned.

No gay agenda - in fact, the opposite. Think about it: almost every show has at least one gay character or gay couple among the regulars. BBT does not. Quickly I ran through 14 regulars or semi regulars, and zip zero nada.

Right. It’s played for its inappropriateness. If the show was coming on line now instead of in 2007, it would be a LOT different.

I don’t think so....the gay agenda was rampant before 2007. The show is what it is, and it’s not typical.

I think it does claim back the idea that a man can be artistic or sensitive and not be in the least gay.
