My Yorkie sleeps on the top of the bed at the bottom. We have a pink plush doggie blanket we got her to sleep on. This morning, I woke up and she was up with us, between us, with her head on my pillow along with me. She is devoted to us and we love her.
I couldn’t imagine anyone so bad who would throw out a mother dog and her puppy. The mother wanted to save her puppy - dogs have thoughts and feelings. They are not throwaways.
That is how our pets should be treated, IMO. Why even have them in the first place if you plan to mistreat them?

I completely agree with this. God created them; they're His little creatures. I believe mental processes occur in the minds of animals that we don't even suspect.
