Nana, way, way, back when I was young, my wife and I lived in an apartment that didn’t have a shower, (tub only). I worked in a foundry at an extremely dirty job. I’d come home from work and immediately bathe, then drain the tub and bathe again. Next morning I’d repeat the procedure. The only time I felt really clean was on week ends.
I was so happy to move outta that place and into my own with not one but two showers in it.
an aside:
I was watching an episode, (rerun) of Duck Dynasty recently and heard Miss Kay tell Phil that, “cleanliness was next to Godliness, it’s in the bible”, Phil just said,”ummm”. I think he knew better.
