Will probably start with a low, long, horizontal, folded dipole for vertical TX/RX (more for local on 40/80, peaks all around here) and figure out how we’re going to elevate something more for a long skip afterward. We’re looking at two 10-watt kits (only solar power available). Quite a challenge for newbies? We’ll see.
You can reach out with established repeaters, satellite and even old school long wire directional like we used to do with old PRC 25’s an 77’s.
