I love texting for things like, "Just landed, pick me up at terminal three" "Ok meet you at the back door" "Hey we are having lunch at Bob's Diner on Thursday, wanna join"

BUT, nearly everyone in my life now ONLY communicates by text. It drives me frikking insane. My brother sends me epic book length texts and seemingly wants to go back and forth 100 rounds to communicate what would take 5 minutes on the phone. My sister too. I have zero patience for a texting session that goes more than 4-5 rounds. Pick up the frikking phone at that point. I don't have time for that.
