Sorry, but we are a nation of immigrants. Who was here 500 years ago? Indians. Thats it. Then people came from all over the world to the new world. From 1860 to 1920, at any given time an average of 14% of the population was foreign born. Thats a huge number.
And no, you may not be an immigrant, but someone in your lineage was. And I’m the proud son of an immigrant. He (my father) came to the United States with nothing, not even speaking English, and built a solid middle class life. Just like millions upon millions of others.
The Democrats are encouraging a new wave of immigrants that are not coming here to become citizens in the traditional sense. They are not coming here to speak our language and assimilate in to the greater society.
Read post number seven and find out the agenda behind the Presidents encouragement of the current wave of illegal immigration.
Are you singling out Indians as not being immigrants?
And they came from Asia.
You ever hear them acknowledge that?
I don't buy that nation of immigrants thing. People fresh off the boat and until they die(d) made up immigrant nation.
Offspring born in USA, until recently anyway, are American. Most recent imports seem to prefer not to claim the title.
Levin states that we are a nation of citizens. “Millions upon millions” of welfare-abusing socialist invaders from all over the world will destroy us. And it won’t take many more years, whether you choose to accept this reality or not. Bob

Spanish conquistadors..
oh dear they were from Europe...
Immigrant status of an ancestor doesn’t make me an immigrant. At no time were a majority of people in the states immigrants. Most were born in the territory that was the United States, or would become the United States.
I think people don’t know what the word immigrant means.
