Sounds like fun for he George Soros crowd old with lots of spending money.
wtf? a real hippie band would put on a free concert for its fans...
I personally know somebody who has a net worth of $40 million, due to being in the right time at the right place in the high tech industry. He throws around $100 bills like most of us throw around nickels.
On the other hand, some of my "poorer cousins" think of me as the "rich guy they know."
Some people just have a different perspective.
I once had the opportunity to see the Rolling Stones, but I found out the cheapest ticket was $425. I thought that was expensive.
If I had $116,000, I’d be spending it on something better and longer lasting than a concert.
For a hunnert sixteen large they better dig Jerry up and put him on a turntable.
What did one Deadhead say to the other after the drugs wore off?
“Man, this band sucks.”
Good song,maybe even great.Definitely a great film.
Was it Anne Coulter?
—It would be like the three remaining Doors members (Krieger, Manzerak and Densmore) getting togeather and calling it a Doors concert. —
They did. Toured with Ian Astbury of the Cult. At least Krieger and Manzarek, did. Think Densmore did for a while, then split and sued the other two for using the word “Doors” in their name.
So funny; the Grateful Band were great; grateful for the music, and glad the Music Never Stopped. Bill Graham said it best, "They're not the best at what they do, they are the only ones who do what they do."
