Basically a giant guinea pig.
Easily tamed. But not as practical a pet as a mouse or a rat. :)
What stops me is their requirement for water.
Summer would not be a problem but what would I do in winter?
They *need* a lot of time in water for their health, so...no cappies for me.
I had Guinea Pigs, once.
They ate each other.
