The Obama administration is calling on U.S. Federal Judge Andrew Hanen to reverse his prior decision and allow President Obama’s executive amnesty to go forward by Monday. If not, the administration says it will appeal.
“Accordingly, Defendants respectfully request expedited consideration of their motion and a ruling as soon as possible. Absent a ruling by close of business on Monday, March 9, 2015, Defendants may seek relief from the Court of Appeals in order to protect their interests,” the filing reads.
The government’s demand comes a day after it admitted in another court filing that it jumped the gun by issuing 100,000 three-year deferrals and work permits under expanded DACA. The program was not supposed to begin until February 18, however it began approving such applications on November 24 and only stopped when Hanen temporarily blocked the executive actions on February 16.

There’s a beautiful city on a hill, that serves as a beacon of liberty and justice to all who can see it. These agents of change have been given a time period in which they can ‘give it their all’ to attempt to destroy it. They see that the clock is running out and need to call in reinforcements to aid their efforts at destroying that city.
Problem is they must get millions registered right away so that it would be impossible to reverse. Also these are voters, you wait and see. And if the amnesty is stopped they will proceed with the idea that this would be unfair to the millions that just could not meed deadline. The communists have it covered. Damn Bonehead and the entire GOP Senate and House.
Rather an interesting threat from the administration...

I think you’re on to something. They don’t want those poor illegals waiting another year to file tax returns. Of course, the IRS can just change deadlines like the HHS did with Obamacare.
Now that Congress has approved his illegal amnesty of illegal aliens by funding it they have seriously undercut this case. Just as they intended.
The GOP is on board The Cheap Labor Express. They don’t care how the amnesty gets done, as long as it gets done.

Since when do presidents “tell” judges what to do. Maybe in a third-world country like Kenya, but not . . . oh, wait. I see.
