To use the plural you would need to write something like, "From those with ability according to their ability; to those with needs according to their needs."

Jim is right. For years we have questioned and criticized the GOP for letting the left choose the moderators. Understanding comes slowly, but for me it finally came, and the scam the Republicans have been running is now fully exposed.
We just watched the Democrats, who are the minority in the House and the Senate, steam roll the Republicans. But in actuality, it was nothing other than the Republicans willingly capitulating to the Democrats. As they have done in the debates, capitulating to the Democrats on the choice of moderators, so they do in politics: capitulate to the Democrats. The Republican party is NOT the opposition party. I think the best description of the Republican party I can give is that the Democrat party is the pimp, and the Republican party is the drug addicted street whore.
