So you missed out on the days when Norton software was actually worth installing. Used to be one should always have Norton on your system, then Symantec bought them and the slide began. Sorry but their stuff is crap now. I would recommend uninstalling it, but it doesn’t even do that well anymore, it’ll complete hose your system. Next time you get a chance to use a machine that’s never been Nortoned give a shot, you’ll find it’s faster and more stable.

Don’t go replacing it with McAffee though, they stink too.
Well .. I don’t have issues with Norton .. if you do .. MAYBE IT’S YOU AND NOT THE SOFTWARE.
BUZZ OFF - I’m sick of this attack on the software I choose to use.
You’re the kind of person who does nothing but spew garbage about a product just because YOU don’t like it .. go away.
I don’t know what to believe. I’ve been told that the free antivirus and malware downloads are as effective as any. I bought a new desk top a year ago from a local company that specializes in computer security for the military. When I asked about this issue (but only when I asked) he unreservedly recommended the ESET NOD32 Antivirus. So far, nary a glitch. But others may have a different opinion. I just know it’s the most effective I’ve ever had.
