I too am the daughter of a WWII vet who passed over 20 years ago and am still so grateful for his service. I especially love re-reading his letters to my Mom.
Both of my parents went to be with Jesus last year. Both were veterans. It is so sad to see what our country has become in these short years after WWII. “Ask what your country can do for you and forget about doing anything for your country.”
