A little harsh on the lying accusation. She just bought a new Mac book within the last month and it’s a piece of garbage.
I don’t know one Apple from another but do know it’s in a box on its way back to get fixed after eating hours on the help line and continuing to have problems.

Terrible luck with the timing, right there.Worse, she obviously didn’t deal with an Apple Store when she bought it.I can relate; I just bought a new iMac and, having recently moved into red territory (central PA), I am not in even extreme commuting range of an Apple Store, and dealt with an authorized reseller. No problems as such, and probably won’t have any for some time - but there is no comparing the experience with that of the Apple Store itself. “Nothing but troubles” from brand new stuff just isn’t going to be experienced at an Apple Store, in my experience.
