“Perhaps the CFL would be a better place to try to stage the comeback.”

Guessing that’s his decision and any team wanting to look at him.
Sure a lot of Tebow haters everywhere.

I remember when Kurt Warner was playing for the Iowa Barnstormers 4 blocks from where I work; just a week or so from bagging groceries for a job at Hy Vee; our local grocery chain.
He was playing in a Super Bowl shortly after.
Glad he didn’t give up on his dream.

Notice though Kurt was willing to understand why he’d washed out of the NFL and accept lower end jobs to hone his skills and get that next opportunity. Tebow just can’t seem to wrap his head around that. He won’t play in the CFL, he won’t play in the AFL. He won’t try non-QB positions in the NFL. It’s good to dream, but if you actually want to achieve the dream you need to understand there’s more to the ladder than the top step.

As I recall, if Tim went to the CFL, the Montreal Alouettes would have first claim on him. I don’t know if that factors into his refusal to go there.
