I don’t think anyone thinks he’s good. Or he’d have a job. He’s not being overlooked. If he were good, he wouldn’t need this House guy to teach him how to throw.
He’s a good athlete. And in college football, you can play quarterback primarily with your legs. You can’t do that in the NFL. Ask RG III, Kaepernick, Michael Vick, Randall Cunningham, Dante Culpepper, and on and on and on.....
My favorite college team to watch is Navy when they’re playing pure option football. None of that punting on fourth down, either, unless they’re deep in their own territory. It must be what football was like before they started passing.
