Toyota fundamentally changed the
National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing into the
International Association for Stock Car Auto Racing.
IASCAR. With that and restrictor plate racing I still
find it a little fun to watch. The drivers are all so
clean, cute and pretty and the cars are all so shiny and
compliant. It should be the Cookie Cutter Car Parade but
it’s all we have so I have to like it.
Oh my goodness. What pretty eyes and nose...and a blue leash too. I’ve never ventured out of the yard in 30+ years but that photo is enticing.

Well, focusing on the pup, we are enjoying the early months of a pup. She is a terror on 4 legs. When I saw that pic, I saw her eyes... so I bet JR is having a blast with him.
Over the wall crew making more $$ than I realized:
I remember when Toyota came in, most pundits expected them to dominate the series like they have many others. But Nascar realizes that isn’t going to keep most of the fans happy.
I did expect more from Gibbs this season, maybe Kyle Busch is more of a factor there than I realized. If nothing else he sets their benchmark for speed, although Kenseth and Edwards are better racers.
The only organization that is strong in Ford's stable is Penske. I used to root for Roush, but it is dying.
In before whats his name!
Not sure what has happened at Roush.
They have lost their top two drivers, several main sponsors, and their cars (using the same RoushYates engines) seem well behind Penske.

Not going to Sonoma. It’ll be the first year we haven’t gone to a race, somewhere, somehow, in 8 years. Busy + no package offered that I liked + tired of NASCAR’s poor decisions & control of the sport. Too bad too ‘cause there’s nothing like the smell of burnt Sunoco fuel (w/10% ethanol) at the track..
We are going to July’s Daytona race... the only tracks we haven’t been to us Kentucky, Kansas, the two California tracks, Chicago and Phoenix. And ‘Daga, but we’ll be there this year.
Actually it’s now the “International Association for Spec Car Auto Racing”
That sounds like great fun. We’re past due for an East coast trip; I’d love to get to Martinsville or Charlotte. Maybe next year.
