What about dual citizenship? How can you be a loyal citizen of two countries or more?

Granted I’ve met many folks who are dual citizens, yet as someone who has only one loyalty, I worry . . .

What about dual citizenship? How can you be a loyal citizen of two countries or more?

Some people, like my son, are dual citizens due to their parents' actions.

I was a sailor stationed in Rota, Spain at the time of my younger son's birth. Spain grants citizenship to all children born there (I'm not sure whether this extends to illegal immigrant children, but I was there legally). Thus, my son is a dual citizen, even though he does not speak Spanish or remember Spain. I do not think that US law recognizes his dual nationality, but Spanish law does.
