I could not understand the words, for the music overwhelming me.
This is something I have a hard time dealing with but I know it is true among a lot of people.
My mind and focus is and has almost always been on the lyrics of a song. The music is just an added emotional component.
I mean no disrespect, but I'm learning that some people don't or can't hear the words for the music.
This is an alien concept for me and something that I need to consider.
Well yes, you can consider it, but it does go to the point I was suggesting of mixing it up with the sound. Cruz is obviously going for the young adults and getting the word out to them. He chose his venue. So, I’m thinking go with your music over the lyrical precision, because that is what brings them home. You and they DO understand it.
Next time when he speaks to retirees, then it can be adapted more to them.
