Drive 65Mph (the speed limit) on most of the freeways in SOCAL and you’ll get run over. Virtually no one goes under 70-75.

I lived in L.A. for forty years, the freeway is rarely over 50

I remember driving on the 60 in pamona and you are so right.People running bumper to bumper at 70 plus.It would be ok if everyone was able to drive at that speed but it was scarey in a 2 liter alfa.
