The US Navy is set to unleash an army of 'ghost drones' to scour the coasts for enemy submarines. They hope to end the growing threat of quiet, diesel powered enemy submarines enters American waters undetected. The robot boats will go to sea for us to three months at a time.

WHY does the U.S. Military announce ALL of their stealth operations?
What’s Obama gonna do if a Russian sub is caught up close & cozy off the US coast? Putin could park a sub at Long Wharf in Boston Harbor, and Obama wouldn’t do a thing.
I presume they have the capability to ‘tag’ the submarine, launch a weapon and/or possibly attach & detonate.
If not, I don’t see the value vs. a SOSUS net Ver. 2...
I read this article and there was a link to another article that shows the new Zumwalt class Destroyer that the US navy is going to implement in 2016. The new Destroyer is much larger and needs less sailors to operate the ship. It has the firepower of 12 155mm howitzers.
Realize who is in charge.
