Rush Limbaugh was talking about this yesterday so WHO beat up Harry Reid? Nobody except Kool-Aid drinking liberals really believes the exercise equipment excuse. Reid did make some mumblings about suing the exercise equipment company but seems to have let that dropped. Also strange is that he never NAMED the company who made that exercise equipment. If I was similarly injured by exercise equipment I would be warning people away from the brand.
So the big question is WHO beat up Harry Reid? Was it more than one person. And WHY? Also interesting is that Reid felt he needed to blame exercise equipment for his beating. Maybe Reid will tell all after he retires from the Senate but I doubt it. Whoever had him beaten up must be powerful enough to strike fear into Reid.
Not the Mob. Had to be something family or personal in a private situation, with no guards. Real reason has to be embarrassing. And he was told to quit the Senate or worse would come.
My guess is his shady private life.
His one redeeming feature was that he was the only thing standing between us and Chuckie the Tea Party Slanderer.
Problem is his description doesn’t square with how a treadmill works. He said he was pulling very hard on some kind of strap that suddenly broke, sending him into a disastrous fall. I’m still trying to imagine what kind of a machine that could have been. Any guesses??

I find it odd that somebody makes Dingy “an offer he can’t refuse” and all of a sudden he decides to resign. Things that make you go, hmmmmmm.
And the same thing happened to him a few years ago, only the injury was to his left eye, not the right eye. He also blamed that on on an exercise accident.
I've always thought that in both instances he got beaten up in the men's room in a truck stop by some "rough trade".
I have often wondered if a whole lot of Senators are being blackmailed.

No, i'm not sure. I saw that claim over at Curmudgeonly and Skeptical and it just sounded too good to check. :)

My theory he got sideways with the Nevada mob and got a visit from a couple of enforcers. Likely the message included marching orders to retire.
It's the type of thing local news and even national news does regularly with this type of thing happens to a "famous" person.
Having "experts" from a gym or even doctors telling you about another common thing that can get ya, :)

The Mob and unions have too much in vested in him to take him out. He’s made a lot of people a lot of money and would continue to do so.
If the Chinese would have wanted to send Harry Reid a message for failure it would have been a hole in the desert and two .22 slugs behind his ear. This is more likely the Vegas Mob expressing their disappointment with Nevada's most senior Senatorial crook.
