Etymology: 1350-1400; Middle English (noun) < Middle French presage < Latin praesāgium presentiment, forewarning, equivalent to praesāg (us) having a foreboding ( prae- pre- + sāgus prophetic; cf. sagacious ) + -ium -ium

Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.

Government generating more and more pages of stifling rules & regulations that impinge on our fundamental freedoms; favored crony corporatists grease pockets of pols in both Parties at an ever-increasing rate with impunity; the wisdom & experience of old age respected less and less, while at the same time, severe gaps in basic knowledge exist and grow among our youth, promoted by the current "selfie" culture — all of these (and much more) presage the end of the American way of life as we've known it, if left unchecked. No truly sage person would believe that we're headed in the right direction…

Quilting supplies? Raiding a woman’s cottage quilting business and taking people into custody-I hope they get a lawyer and make both those county governments bleed money...

That crap goes on everywhere now and has got to stop...

I’m immersed in a materials list, having tofu and a handful of raw snow peas for lunch-it is overcast and 62 here, with rain on the way tomorrow-

Hillary just never changes-
That is the Clinton’s fame
Every time she says a word
It presages more of the same

More hearing I don’t recall
No matter what they may ask
But still the driveby media
Refuses to take her to task

I’ll bet the biggest reason
The media dances to her tune
Is to see Bill back in the WH
Making all the bimbos swoon...

I like to buy clothes-but my new stuff this year consists of new pairs of jeans, socks, underwear and wifebeaters, and a new pair of work boots. I have non-work, girly attire I’ve only worn once or twice.

I’ll cross my fingers that you find a great MOB dress-almost nothing feels better than a new outfit.
