Maybe we should test Obama and Kerry for the same illness?
To: Citizen Zed
No testing required. It’s obvious even to those not trained in diagnosing mental health issues. As to the pilot, let’s just be glad he didn’t commit planeacide.

I suspect this clown knew he had mental issues. Why did he not take himself off flight status?

” he was restrained by passengers and the flight made an unscheduled landing in Amarillo,”
Juts like Flight 93, the passengers has the brains to apprehend the scumbag before he did a Germanwings. Same thing happened on my uncle’s flight in 08’ when an idiot tried to open the emergency hatch midlfight. Every dude in the section jumped him after a lot of screaming, and some wanted to really kick his ass.

Three years later, he has filed a $14.9 million lawsuit against JetBlue, alleging that the airline allowed him to fly despite knowing that he was mentally unfit. So he's suing them for not firing him?

And he was damaged how? He should have no more of a case than any of the thousands of passengers he flew sueing HIM for getting behind the yoke while in his ADMITTED nutsy cuckoo state

If I remember this JetBlue incident correctly, the pilot wanted to crash the New York - Las Vegas flight and the co-pilot managed to lock the pilot out of the cockpit in order to stop him.
A burly prison guard, who was a passenger on the plane, sat on the pilot as he, the pilot, laid down in the aisle with other passengers helping to hold him down. All this was captured on passenger’s camera phones, and it aired on all the evening news broadcasts, along with interviews of the New York State prison guard.

I bet the licker sales skyrocketed after that episode.
