I met George Gordon Battle Liddy a few years after he got out of prison. He was a very polished speaker, and he defended Nixon. If President Nixon had just thrown Liddy and Hunt under the bus, he wouldn’t had to resign. Nixon’s mistake was his loyalty to his idiot friends. I also met a sailor who served under Nixon in the Navy. He had several pictures of him with Nixon. The sailor praised Nixon and said he was a great leader who cared for his men.
