Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse for MSNBC, along came the quarterly ratings reports.
In both daytime and prime time, MSNBC endured its lowest quarterly demo numbers in a decade, and its total viewership since the final quarter of 2007. Prime-time viewership was down 45 percent in the demo from the first quarter of 2014, while daytime viewership was down 39 percent in the demo.
On Tuesday, while Fox News and CNN were boasting their own quarterly numbers -- Fox News remained dominant, CNN made major strides in the demo -- MSNBC chose to focus on the month of March instead, where it boasted gains in prime time and a victory for "Morning Joe" over CNN's "New Day."

So, they cannot get below 500 viewers? lol
Then get government to fund it, and form another Union.
Comcast, which owns NBC and several cable networks, is a democrat company. They donate large sums to democrat causes. And rarely do they give anywhere near as much to a republican.
So remember that when you pay your cable bill. If its going to Comcast, a good sized chunk is paying for MSNBC and the NBC news team. NBC does not make it on advertising. They need your cable money or they could not stay afloat. That is also true of ABC and CBS. They now make most of their money through cable rebroadcast fees not advertising.
Paying for cable is paying for the mainstream media.
MSDNC could care less..they have what, 2 viewers, they wouldn’t care if they had just one viewer, as long as they go on TV and yell and rant and rave about their Commie agenda they will continue to do it
Move that Madcow carpet-muncher to an earlier time slot, so that more of the children could watch her...at least more than do so now.
Have that Farrow fairy do a Sinatra set every once in a while...

It is a tax write off for Comcast, but those days may be ending as people are streaming and cutting the cable. With Apple tv and Google getting into the content business along with a big push to allow Customers in the future to pick their Channels ala cart the gravy days may be coming to an end for big cable. MSNBC will need to stand on it’s own two feet and soon IMO.
I do not and will not turn the channel on.
And i sure as hell would not purchase anything from an advertiser on that biased piece of crap network.
