The same question has been asked about Amazon for several years. Their share of the market and their market capitalization keeps going up by the tens of billions. I wish I’d bought the stock when the critics started bitching and moaning.
Tesla makes their profits from the sale of “ev credits” to other car manufacturers. Without the California and NE State Compact mandates for a minimum percentage of electric vehicles sold by each mfgr, they would have no profit.
So it’s the very definition of “crony capitalism”
