Overpaid is an understatement.
These are government employees who are mostly unionized.
These are highly lucrative jobs with top shelf benefits and lottery style retirement pensions.
And they all know it.
Yea like falling through burning roofs and stuff like that.My husband was injured twice on the fire department.Both times he had the last rites of the Catholic Church.He fell off a 3 story building and broke his arm,leg and back.Out for a year with 3 young children and a new house.I had to go to work.Both my son’s are Firefighters and there were 2 injuries just yesterday.We lost a beautiful woman firefighter a few months ago.The life span of a professional firefighter is 10 years after they retire.So don’t worry about the money they will be dead just like all the guys on 911.God forbid they shop for food pulling a 24 hours.
