(Id go back earlier than that. No Mohammad and no Islam.)
You beat me to it. By far Mohammad is responsible directly and especially indirectly for the greatest amount of evil throughout known history, and still is.

A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the people discover they can vote themselves largess out of the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that democracy always collapses over a loose fiscal policy—to be followed by a dictatorship. ~ Alexander Fraser Tytler

—my opinion also—and while he is a hero to many , I attribute the election of Wilson primarily to the original “Big Government” Republican , Teddy Roosevelt——

Woodrow Wilsons election. Think about that before replying. What, and eliminate WWII?

“Lincoln issuing the Emancipation Proclamation without any plan to repatriate the slaves to their native habitat.”
By 1861, every slave in America was native to America with most having ancestors in America since before the American Revolution.
Therefore, their “”native habitat” was the United States.

What, and eliminate WWII? Better. It eliminates WWI. And with no WWI, no Versaille, no Weimnar Germany, no Hitler (as anything but a frustrated artist), no Holocaust, probably no Soviet Untion either.
