Chicago C Jonathan Toews redirects his first home goal of the Series over G Pekka Rinne,
to narrow the Nashville lead to 3-2 at the end of the 1st intermission of Game 6 in Chicago…

Nashville just had bad timing, great year but coming down the home-stretch, only won 2 of their last 11 games. Unfortunate, 2 and a half minutes, I hope they can tie this up but I’m not expecting it.

Blackhawks advance in game 6!

Crow was back in net after Scott Darling got his butt kicked in the first period.

By contrast, Calgary just scored and despite a hard-fought battle to just get into the playoffs over the Kings and Jets, the Flames may have stepped up things. Nashville definitely limped into the post season.

4 minutes, that was a killer but Vancouver just needs to settle down. They’ve actually played pretty well....

This series may end tonight as well.

Hopefully the Wings will finish it off their next game. Mrazek looked real good tonight.

Bummer, Airborne. My Wings are surprising me - up 3 to 2 and heading back to Hockeytown to maybe pull off a first round win with only their wile and ageing legs. If they do, my brackets are completely busted, having picked the Preds to hoist the cup over the Bolts.

Yes, the Red Wings fumbled away the Thursday night game. I think Detroit will win that next game. I know most of these teams want to win it in 6 because if game 7 comes, it’s virtually anyone’s series.

I’d even go with the Senators to win tomorrow vs. Montreal. The Senators looked to be packing their bags, I don’t think the Habs will do it tomorrow though they might be able to win a game 7. Ottawa now is a hot team.

I can’t believe what’s happened to the Habs, they better get their ship righted.

Flames, a good year but certainly not stellar. They made the playoffs. They will face the Ducks.

I’d see Anaheim winning but maybe the Flames are peaking.

The Bolts are a tough high scoring powerhouse that, with the exceptions of the game you mentioned and the 5-1 loss a week ago, the Wings goal-tending and defense have stymied them. But the Bolts will bring it, so the Wings will need another game like last night’s to pull it off in game 6.

I’m picking Calgary to win the series against the Ducks.

Nice win! As usual, the NHL playoffs are excellent.

Did you hear about this Katy Perry chant thing? Bettman was asked about it and the Nazis didn’t like his answer.

Jets fans chanted “Katy Perry” at Duck’s goalie Corey Perry. It didn’t work, the Ducks swept them.

Apparently it’s “sexist”. Vomit. ****ing libs.

malkin - “He is clearly injured”

IT’S A FESTIVUS MIRACLE! (that’s happened before)
“Malkin: ‘if I step on ice, it’s healthy. I have a couple of small injuries, but it’s not big one.’ “
Watch him go to the World Championships for Russia and play well. IMO is Malkin is the biggest leach in the NHL.

That said the defense being injured was a big part of why they lost. The transition game went to crap when Letang went down. Last year Niskanen was the back up, this year it was nobody. The Pens ownership and management is to blame. They can’t evaluate talent therefore they don’t acquire or retain the right players. Sad days for Pens fans.

On the bright side, there are some interesting teams still in it.
Let’s go Ducks, Islanders,Tampa. I’m sorry Nashville lost, James Neal came up big for them.
