I'm glad Tampa won. I like seeing new blood in the Stanley Cup. Hopefully Anaheim polishes off Chicago tomorrow.

Tampa kinda has that smell. The odor of destiny. It doesn’t always carry you all the way but it’s gotten them to the final.

The Blackhawks are really the only good thing going in Illinois right now. The state is a Democratic cesspool run by the teachers unions and trial lawyers where everything there is a corruption tax applied virtually every action.

They were absolutely DOMINATING last night. Hands down their best playoff game to date. What a fun and great game to watch last night!

The Cubs are doing pretty well too. High expectations for the Cubs this year. On paper, the best pitching staff in the NL, now they need to live up to what's on paper.
As a White Sox fan myself, it would really be nice if the Cubs finally won a World Series. They have the talent and the coaching this year to do it. If not now, when?

My one comment to your smörgåsbord of remarks is that Donald Trump is the one potential GOP candidate that would make me vote for Rand Paul if they were the only two candidates left. (And he’s the one guy that could make George Pataki say “you’re running for president? What, are you delusional?”)

CHC are 6 out of first place. STL keeps rolling. I don't remember the pitcher's name at the moment, but one of the St. Louis Cardinal's pitchers is a member of the same church I attend and his home is up here in NE Illinois.

An MLB player at church? Impressive! He's not the only one, we have a few Chicago White Sox players that live out in our area that attend also.
Jerry Manuel (White Sox head coach before Ozzie Guillen took over) lived just across the county line road from me. He was a genuinely nice guy. Very giving of his time to alot of charities and organizations. He also attended the same Church I do.
